10 MIN Fat Burning Workout (NO EQUIPMENT!)

And I have the perfect line up of exercises that'll help you burn a whole ton of calories as well as body fat in just ten minutes without the use of any equipment. As we go through the workout I'll be providing specific instructions on how to perform each exercise correctly as well as progression and regression paths for certain exercises to make them easier for those of you that are beginners and to make them more challenging for those of you that are advanced. As you watch, remember that the goal is to do the exercises back to back with no break unless you need one. So with that said let's jump right into our first exercise the kneeling up down. To begin you'll start by lowering yourself into a squat whille keeping your hands in a prayer position in front of your chest. From there you're going to take a step backwards with one foot and lunge down onto your knee. Then you're going to take your other leg and bring that knee down to the ground so that both knees meet. Next you'll step up with the leg you originally lunged backwards on, and you'll complete the movement by stepping back up into that starting squat position. Then repeat. Now I know this may sound super complicated but it really isn't because if let's say you're starting on your left side You're essentially going left right left right or if you're starting on your right side you'll be going right left right left. So looking at it that way it really isn't complicated at all. In total You're going to do one side for 30 seconds before switching to the other side for another 30 seconds. if you'd like to make this exercise more advanced you can start on both knees and explode from there up into a squat position. Then just like before you'll lunge back onto one knee, and bring the other knee on the ground next to it before repeating the explosive portion again. Now, Of course if this exercise is too difficult and you need a regression something that'll really help reduce the burning sensation in your legs, is allowing yourself to lock out your legs when you stand up instead of having to hold that squat position every time you stand back up. Lets move on to the next exercise, push-up mountain climbers. Almost everyone has done these two exercises separately and all we're doing is we're combining them into one exercise that'll really elevate your heart rate while working your chest shoulders and triceps as well. You'll start by getting into a push-up position and from there you'll perform four mountain climbers by hoping one knee up towards your chest and then alternating from side to side. Each time you shuffle your knees it counts as one rep. After you finish the 4 reps you're going to perform a push-up. then go back to the mountain climbers and repeat for 30 seconds. If you want to make the exercise more challenging you can do plyometric pushups or clap ups instead of the regular push-ups in between the mountain climbers. And if you want a regression, you should still be able to do the mountain climbers, but then for the pushup you can drop to your knees and performe each push-up on your knees. Just make sure that your tailbone, the back of your shoulders, and the back of your knees stay in a straight line, rather than sticking your but up in the air. Now regardless of which version you do, as soon as the 30 seconds are over you're going to lay down flat on your stomach and start doing Supermen. This exercise will almost serve as a break helping you catch your breath and slightly slowing your heart rate back down. So, To perform Supermen you'll start with your hands above your head and your legs straight out. Then you're simply going to contract your glutes and back muscles to raise your upper body and your lower body up off the floor at the same time, and you'll want to hold that position for a 3-second count before returning back down flat on the floor. Again we want to repeat that for 30 seconds. Now, this exercise should be simple enough for anyone to do even if you're a beginner but if you do need a regression you can put your hands to your sides....

Potatoes: sweet and white potatoes. I like the large ones for baking! Legumes: kidney beans, chickpeas, and lentils are my favourites. Fruit: grapes are my #1 choice and frozen berries are great for breakfast oats & smoothies. Try apples, pears, oranges, and melon too. Vegetables: I like courgettes, red pepper, sweetcorn, kale, and onion. Healthy fats: almonds, hazelnuts, chia seeds, sunflower seeds and avocado. Still to this day those six basic food groups make up the majority of my typical grocery haul. I’m convinced that they’re just about the six best foods for your first grocery shop on the natural foods diet. Grains, potatoes, legumes, fruit, vegetables, and some healthy fat sources; these are foods which most of us know and love. Increasing one’s intake of these shouldn’t feel like much of a tough task then. Items 7 through 10 below also feature regularly on my grocery list, but I don’t need to buy them quite so often. Seasoning: salt, crushed chilli, onion flakes, garlic powder, thyme, basil, oregano, veg stock cubes etc. Sauces: soy sauce, ketchup, bbq sauce, oil-free pasta sauce, and low-fat salad dressing are my favourites. Others include sweet chilli, hoisin, and teriyaki sauce. Sugar: to sweeten my oats and healthy cereal - brown or coconut sugar is best. Jam: raspberry is my go to flavour. Still to this day those six basic food groups make up the majority of my typical grocery haul. I’m convinced that they’re just about the six best foods for your first grocery shop on the natural foods diet. Grains, potatoes, legumes, fruit, vegetables, and some healthy fat sources; these are foods which most of us know and love. Increasing one’s intake of these shouldn’t feel like much of a tough task then. Items 7 through 10 below also feature regularly on my grocery list, but I don’t need to buy them quite so often. Seasoning: salt, crushed chilli, onion flakes, garlic powder, thyme, basil, oregano, veg stock cubes etc. Sauces: soy sauce, ketchup, bbq sauce, oil-free pasta sauce, and low-fat salad dressing are my favourites. Research shows us that these are the three key factors that lead to optimal growth for any muscle in your body. And to really simplify things, mechanical tension can be defined as that stretching force that you place your muscles under when you contract them against resistance. (1) Metabolic stress can be associated with that pump or that burning sensation that you get when your muscles become exhausted. And muscular damage is exactly what it sounds like. it's essentially breaking down muscle fibers so they can repair themselves and come back stronger and bigger. Working on increasing all three will without a shadow of a doubt help you grow your arms faster. So today I want to give you 5 simple tricks that I've learned over the years that you can incoprorate into your arm workouts to really maximize these three key factors for growth. And the first one is a special kind of superset that'll allow you to use heavy weight and high reps within one continuous set helping you create a lot of tension and a big pump in the muscles that you're targeting. To set it up, For your starting set you'll want to use a heavy weight that you can't complete more than 8 to 10 reps with. Then right after completing that set without taking a break, you'll immediately want to move to another exercise that targets that same muscle but you should be using a much lighter weight this time because you'll be aiming to get 15 to 20 reps on this superset. So to give you an example one of my favorite ways to set this up for biceps is by simply performing close grip eazy bar curls for 10 reps with a heavy weight and then immediately switching to a wide grip with a lighter weight for 20 reps. Another example for biceps would be to do close grip barbell curls with a heavy weight for 10 reps and then switch over to wide grip ez bar preachur curls with a lighter weight for 20 reps. For triceps a good example would be to start with skull crushers for your heavy 10 reps and then switch to tricep rope pushdowns for 20 reps. Within this same framework of doing back to back sets for more reps you can also do dropsets instead of supersets. With dropsets you would start an exercise like barbell bicep curls with the bar loaded up with let's say 3 10 pound plates on each side. You would then aim to squeeze out 10 reps on your first set, and then immediately drop a 10 pound plate off of each side before performing another set without a break. You can also drop another ten off of each side after your second set for a triple dropset. Now if you've never tried doing dropsets or supersets like this before you're going to be absolutely blown away at just how much tension and how much of a pump you'll feel in your arms. So I recommend that you save this for later on in the workout because your arms will be exhausted afterwards. Now the second tip that I want to go over which should've really been the first is to work on getting your arms stronger in general... and one of the best ways to get stronger is to progressively use heavier weight for your arm exercises. If you continuously use the same weight load, you will initially get results, but you'll quickly plateau because your body will adapt to that weight load. Increasing the amount of weight that your lifting directly increases mechanical tension. it'll also usually cause more metabolic stress as long as you're not taking crazy long breaks, and it'll definitely lead to more muscular damage. Now one simple way that you can get stronger faster is by sticking within an upper and lower limit to your rep range. So let's say I set that to 8 to 10 reps. Once you can lift a certain amount of weight on an exercise like barbell bicep curls for 10 reps that means that've you've reached the upper limit and it's time to increase the weight. If you were to up that weight by 2.5 pounds on each side and you were still able to get 9 reps that means you can increase it even further. So if you increase it by 5 pounds on each side and you notice that you can barely squeeze out 8 reps then that's perfect. Now your new goal is to work overtime on increasing back to 9 or 10 reps with that new heavier weight load. Always increasing the weight and putting yourself back at the bottom of your rep range is a solid simple strategy that I used for years to get my arms stronger...

But if you don't do anything about it and you just hope for it to heal on it's own there's a good chance that you'll just re- injure it again because you're not solving the cause of the problem. and that's a major issue because when you constantly have pain in your lower back you can't work properly, you can't sleep properly and definitely can't workout properly. So today I want to go over the 5 key steps you can take to quickly recover from lower back pain and prevent it from happening again in the future. So when you first start feeling that pain and you start thinking that you've injured your back, you're first step towards recovery is to set up an ideal environment for your body to repair itself. All too often we'll be working out, doing yard work, or just lifting something off the ground and we'll start to feel that tightness in our lower back, but instead of listening to our body we try to push through it. this is a bad idea because we all know that Doing one more set of squats or shoveling more snow simply isn't worth it since it'll just make your injury worse and it'll take you even longer to recover. The other common mistake is stretching immediately after an injury. now stretching has its place in the recovery process, but it shouldn't be done right after getting an injury. this is because theres a high chance that your back pain stems from a muscular strain which is caused by overstretching or hyperextending your back muscles. So If you're feeling pain that came from overstretching your muscles the last thing you'll want to do is stretch them even further. Instead you'll want to stop the activity that's causing the pain, and start applying ice to the injured area every 2 hours for 20 minutes at a time to help reduce inflammation. You'll also want to get somewhere where you can rest but when lying down and resting it's crucial that you're doing it on a firm surface. One of the worst things you can do for your back especially after getting an injury is to sink into a super soft bed. this is because a soft mattress doesn't provide much support so your upper back and hips will sink down into the mattress which will cause your spine to curve and hyperextend leading to more pain and making it harder to heal. So make sure you lay down on a firm or at least a medium firm surface, and you may even want to try resting on the floor. when you lay your back on the floor or a similar hard surface your body can't sink down and your spine is put into a neutral position which is ideal for recovery. While resting, icing, and taking it easy for a couple days you'll also want to begin with step 2 which is eating an anti-inflammatory diet. And guys this is super powerful and critical for recovery if you constantly have nagging lower back pain and especially if you've recently had an injury. Most people only focus on what exercises and stretches they should do which i'll get to in a second, but to speed up recovery your diet should consist of only whole unprocessed foods and you should eliminate and avoid things like refined carbohydrates, fried foods, soda, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, alcohol, and processed meat. All these foods will contribute to the inflammation and the problem is the longer it takes to reduce the inflammation the longer it'll take to heal. natural foods have the exact opposite effect and some may even help lower inflammation. For example fruit's like kiwi and pineapple contain bromelain, which is a protein-digesting enzyme known for its anti-inflammatory effects. foods high in omega 3 like salmon, walnuts, flaxseeds and chia seeds are all excellent to eat as well because omega 3 has been shown to help prevent and reduce excessive inflammation. You'll also obviously want to eat a lot of greens, as well as good natural sources of protein and fat. To put it simply don't go crazy overcomplicating your diet, just eliminate all processed foods and only eat whole natural foods to lower inflamation and speed up recovery. Now the next step is to start foam rolling and stretching. Keep in mind you should let at least 48 to 72 hours pass after your injury before you begin this step. When foam rolling many people make the mistake of foam rolling their lower backs directly. 7 BEST Exercises For a BIGGER CHEST!

And even though there's a lot more to being in good shape than just having nice pecs, the chest is one of the most noticeable muscle groups regardless of what you're wearing and it's one of the first things that people will subconsciously pay attention to when you walk through the door. Studies show that women are initially more attracted to men with a lower waist to chest ratio (1) and if you have big prominent chest you'll give off a vibe, that makes you look stronger, healthier, and more confident. And having strong pecs goes a lot further than just enhancing your appearance. All throwing, swinging, and pushing movements are directly dependent on your chest and shoulder strength. So training your chest will help you be more efficient at many things including simply getting up off the floor, pushing a stalled car, or even playing sports like baseball. And To give you the best results not only will I be going over some common as well as not so common chest exercises that you may have never seen before so you'll definitely want to stick around for those. But by far the number one exercise for a bigger stronger chest is the bench press. You can perform the bench press on a flat incline or decline surface. But for this demonstration, I want to start with the incline bench press. The incline will focus more on your upper chest. To set this up you'll want to lay directly under the barbell and grab an overhand grip that's a few inches wider than shoulder-width. I like to set my hands about thumbs distance from where the gnarling starts. Before unracking the bar you'll also want to retract your shoulder blades by pulling them back together and you'll want to arch your back, but you don't want to arch so much that your hips rise up off the bench as this can lead to a lower back or a neck injury. After getting into position you'll want to unrack the bar and hold it directly over your chest, then lower the bar down to your sternum while maintaining about a 45 to 75-degree angle between your elbows and your body. After bringing the barbell down to your chest drive through your legs, and press back up to the starting position. Then repeat for reps. Now a lot of people wonder how low you should go on the bench press, more specifically if you should touch your chest on every rep or if you should stop before the bar touches your chest. And the answer is that it depends. If you have no problems going all the way down to your chest then you can do that, but if you're one of the many people that feel discomfort in their shoulders when they bench press then you're much better off stopping about 1 to 3 inches above your chest before returning the bar to the starting position. Also keep in mind that this exercise can be done on a decline and flat angle as well. With the decline you would be aiming to bring the barbell a little lower right under your chest trying to touch your upper abs with the bar, and for the decline you'll be targeting more of your lower pecs. With flat bench press you would target both the upper and lower chest more evenly. All 3 can be effective depending on what you're trying to do, and if you want to build a bigger chest upping your weight and lifting heavy on the bench press is a must. Let's move on to a not so common chest exercise that primarily targets the upper chest. The landmine chest press. Now this exercise can be amazing, but the way you set it up is what will determine if it is effective or not. Most people will load the barbell up on the ground, and the problem with that is in order to lift the weight off the ground you'll have to rely mostly on your biceps which will require you to use a much lighter weight than you actually could push with your chest, shoulders, and triceps. So to avoid this you'll want to start with the barbell elevated off the ground by propping one end up on top of a platform or a sturdy bench. Then you would kneel down, and grab the bar with your hands clasped around it in a prayer position. You'll want to be leaning slightly forward towards the barbell with the bar under your chin, and you'll want to stick your chest out while keeping your shoulder blades retracted and tight together. Then press the bar up until your arms are fully extended, and return back under your chin, and repeat for reps....
